About Robert the Engineer
Started playing electric guitar in the early 70s playing in different bands till the mid 90s. In 1988 purchased a medium sized sound system and lighting, doing fairgrounds and small events around Sacramento. Around 1991 to 1996 went to the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, CA with this sound and lighting system. Mixing major bands; Green Day 5 times up to 1994 Lollapolooza tour, Tilt, shark bait, no doubt, GWAR, Ice-T, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Pato Bonton, Eek-A-Mouse, The Crystal Method, Digital Underground, Pauly Shore, smoking rhythm prawns, pigface, skankin pickle, dance hall crashers, buckethead, Mr bungle, Sublime and many more. In 1997, received three degrees from Napa College in electronics. Worked for 25 years as a broadcast design and test engineer working on projects HBO, Disney channel, CNBC, CBS Hollywood, major sports venues Toyota center Houston, Texas Motor speedway and many more. After ending up with the entire Phoenix Theater sound system in September of 2023, I ended up going back to running sound. References;
